This level of care elevates the guest experience from ordinary to memorable.

The communal spaces foster a relaxed environment where guests can unwind, enjoy a hot drink, or share stories. While the hotel has evolved into what some describe as “House on the Greenside,” losing some traditional hotel amenities such as lifts and in-room hot water on demand, its charm lies in its simplicity and authenticity.

Staying here for a while now and it's a real pleasure! Very nice staff and owners! Rooms are complete with a good bed and a perfect night rest! Amazing views! Internet is also good. And anything you ask for can be made possible. All in all very good hotel!

Excellent hotel, very quiet and peaceful, lovely rooms and bathrooms. Comfortable beds. Great views. Family run with a fantastic breakfast, I just spent 5 nights there while working and would highly recommend it. Thank you Agnes for a lovely stay.

Always a great stay. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are warm in the winter, and the breakfast every morning is lovely. Gorgeous views and a pub downstairs cap this off as the best value I've ever had in a hotel. The family that runs it is wonderful and can give all sorts of tips on places to visit in the area. Worth every penny and is my go-to for hotel for the area.

This is not the Greenside Hotel anymore, it's now called House on the Greenside. It is rooms with no hotel facilities. There is no lift. There are communal areas. There's a dining/communal room where you can make drinks and toast or eat a take away or just sit and chill. Yes, the building is tired, but our room was fabulous, very modern and clean. You have to press a switch to heat hot water 30 minutes before you shower, no problem. The view of the Lomond Hills is a sight to behold. Ryan and his team are doing a great job with this place considering they've only been running things for a very short time.

I've just stayed here ovwrnight with a friend as we came through to see The Polis and Catch 22 gig. The gig was brilliant and well worth the ticket cost. Great venue for a gig. The hotel staff were lovely when we booked the room and during our stay too. Nothing was a problem. The bar staff were great and so friendly and helpful. They catered for my vegan diet without any issue. Agnes and the other staff there were lovely and chatty. The room had everything we needed and was spotlessly clean. The view of the Lomond hills from the huge window was beautiful and peaceful. I would recommned this to anyone and would happily go back again. Thank you Greenside staff. We had a great and comfortable stay. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
